Solitude Farm (Organic farm), Auroville

I interned at Solitude Farm to learn and practice natural farming and sustainable living. For the year, I lived off the grid for a full year to experience and take part in the year-long crop rotation cycle. A variety of vegetables, fruits, grains, and seeds are being harvested from the farm. You eat what you grow here. This farm is inspired by the teachings of Masanobu Fukuoka, a Japanese farmer and philosopher celebrated for his natural farming and re-vegetation of desertified lands.
